40th Anniversary

Warren School is celebrating it's 40th anniversary during 2015 - 2016, and is looking to commemorate the occasion this summer.
We have gathered some ideas on how we can do this and we will be asking staff and pupils on their views, but we'd also love to hear what parents and our partners think.

    Ideas
  • Hold one or more open days, with a display of photographs of Warren past and present (the EDP and Journal have already published appeals for photos/memories).
  • Invite people to write/record (audio or video) their best memories of Warren for commemorative book/DVD.
  • Have a huge party and invite past pupils, parents and staff - here or elsewhere.
  • Ask the local radio station to broadcast a special programme/feature from Warren School.
  • Create an original artwork with input from every child (maybe a mosaic which could be moved if need be).
  • Do a project on how clothes, houses, technology, etc, have changed since 1975.

If you like any of the ideas above or have any ideas of your own that you would like to contribute, please drop them in the box outside the meeting room in school, or send an e-mail to office@warrenschool.co.uk.
