The Warren Association is a small, but dedicated group of parents and staff who raise funds and hold social events for pupils, parents, families, staff and friends of the school.
We have had a busy year for fundraising, thank you to everyone that supported our Christmas Fair last year, Quiz Nights, Raffles, Media Awards, Summer Fayre and many more events.
We have been extremely lucky to have been the recipients of donations from Lowestoft Classic Car Club and Lowestoft Ladies Darts League. The local business community have been very generous supporting our raffles by donating prizes.
A special thank you to members of Staff who braved the ice-cold water for The Christmas Day Swim, for which we were awarded shares of funds raised of £1,061.68.
All our fundraising this year has been used to pay for:
Class Donations/ Outings and equipment
Pantomime performances for the whole School
Bean bags for our Quiet room
Equipment for our swimming pool
Entertainment by Tricky Twister and Mini Monsters
Library book donations
My Choir Rocks sessions
Gifts from Santa
Communication team resources
Additional monies towards improvements in our outdoor learning facilities fund.
Project for 2020
Our School Sensory garden is in desperate need of updating. It is such an enriching part of the learning environment but is not able to be accessed to its full potential in its current condition, We have contacted several design and garden companies for ideas and inspiration. The quotes that are coming back are very expensive. We were aware that this was going to be a huge undertaking but we cannot do this alone, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are reaching out to businesses in our local community and to you our loyal Parent/Carer support network.
If you, your family or friends have any skills to help us with this project we would love to hear from you.
There are many ways of raising funds for School. We appreciate your commitment to donations for events and the buying of Christmas cards, raffle tickets etc, but there are other very easy ways of supporting the Warren Association:
Recycle 4 Charity
You can recycle inkjet cartridges to help raise funds for the school. We will send envelopes home for you to use, it is free post and all you need to do is pop it in the post box. Please ask for any additional envelopes for family and friends to use too.
There is a very simple way for you to raise funds for us without adding to your workload or costing you a single penny extra!

We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the Match Funding scheme and how a little bit of your time could raise double the funds for the association. If you work for an organization that has a match funding policy, any money you raise could be matched by your employer. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall that their employee is working on. Usually, the employee will need to supply them with a letter from the Warren Association detailing the date and nature of the event, together with the total raised. We understand that the high street banks, building societies, supermarkets and large corporations are likely to do match funding, but these schemes are not exclusive to the major corporate giants. If you work for an independent company, they may be interested in charitable giving through match funding too. We would be grateful if you could see if your employer has a match funding scheme, or if they are willing to match fund any of our events. If you can’t help at this time, but you know the company you work for has a match funding policy, please let us know. This could be a large source of income for the Warren Association and help us raise money for future projects. If you can help us this way, please let us know and we can discuss your companies.
